Indian masala chai (Spiced chai)

1 1/4 cups of water
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons loose black tea (or tea bags)
1/3 cup milk
1-2 drops of
Supreme Spice Tea Masala

Combine sugar and water in a pan. Bring it to a boil. Turn down the heat and add milk. Now add tea powder (or tea bag) and let steep for 4-5 minutes. Strain tea into cup and now add 1-2 drops of Supreme Spice tea masala. Stir and enjoy an authentic Indian masala chai.

 

Ginger Tea

1 1/4 cups of water
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons loose black tea (or tea bags)
1/3 cup milk
1-2 drops of
Supreme Spice ginger extract

Combine sugar and water in a pan. Bring it to a boil. Turn down the heat and add milk. Now add tea powder (or tea bag) and let steep for 4-5 minutes. Strain tea into cup and now add 1-2 drops of Supreme Spice ginger extract. Stir and enjoy.

Note: Instead of ginger extract, add Supreme Spice cardamom extract to your tea and you will have a delicious cardamom tea.
 

Lemon and Fennel Tofu

2 drops of Supreme Spice Fennel extract
1/4 cup olive oil
4 drops of
Supreme Spice Garlic extract
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped, optional
2 tsp. lemon zest
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. pepper
1 lb. firm tofu, cut into 1 inch slices
1 lemon, sliced 

Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl. Spread half the mixture onto tofu slices. Arrange tofu in the bottom of a lightly oiled baking dish. Bake 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Serve tofu with remaining marinade and lemon slices.        
 

Cardamom Baked Bananas with Yogurt

4 firm bananas, peeled and cut diagonally into 1/2 inch slices
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbs. dark brown sugar, packed
1 Tbs. plus 1 tsp. unsalted butter
2-3 drops of
Supreme Spice Cardamom extract
2 cups low fat vanilla yogurt

Preheat oven to 450°F. Arrange banana slices in a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with 2 Tbs. brown sugar, butter and Cardamom extract. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with remaining brown sugar. Gently toss to combine. Serve bananas with yogurt.
 

Mulled Cider

2 quarts fresh apple cider
1/4 cup (packed) light brown sugar
2 bay leaves
2 cinnamon sticks
3-4 drops of
Supreme Spice clove extract
1-2 drops of
Supreme Spice nutmeg extract
3-4 drops of
Supreme Spice cardamom extract
Zest of 1 orange, peeled in continuous spiral if possible

Combine the cider, brown sugar, bay leaves , cinnamon sticks and orange zest in a large pan. Bring to a boil and then simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Add drops of clove extract, nutmeg extract and cardamom extract. Simmer for 5 more minutes. Mulled cider is ready to enjoy.

Some ideas and tips to use Supreme Spice extracts

 Add a few drops of your favorite extract (cardamom, ginger) to your oatmeal. Its a good and healthy way to spice up the regular, bland oatmeal.
